Cactus Pear Margarita Recipe

   Margarita recipe with cactus pear juice and orange liqueur.
   When I saw this one, I couldn't believe my eyes! Cactus pear?! What is that?! Where can I find it? Seems, this one is quite exotic - real Mexican taste :) Finally, I got this juice from the Internet, so here is the recipe itself.

Cactus Pear Margarita Recipe


• 1 1/2 ounce of silver tequila
• 1 ounce of cactus pear juice
• 1 ounce of orange liqueur
• 2 ounces of fresh lime juice

   Mix the ingredients using blender until it is something you cannot identify anymore :) It will be red, by the way. Then rim the glass with a bit of that cactus pear juice (quite nice, by the way) and then with a salt. Lime wedge can add a nice look, but it is optional (unless you've put too much of tequila and will have to urgently chase it with something :)
